Meet Copper!<br/><br/>Copper is a chatty, loving, and delightfully rambunctious boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He absolutely loves playing with his foster sisters, especially a good game of tug-of-war and if he loses, he will happily tell you all about it for a while after.<br/><br/>Hes a social little guy who wants to be included in everything. If hes ready to come inside, youll know it... hell stand up on his back legs and enthusiastically paw at the door until you let him in. While Copper enjoys being outside, his favorite place is curled up inside on his fluffy bed after a good play session.<br/><br/>Copper is full of classic husky charm. He has plenty to say and isnt shy about it, whether hes starting up his signature husky whambulance or giving his opinion when learning new things like no. He already knows how to sit and is continuing to learn, especially with the help of treats, which he loves (freeze-dried bananas and sweet potatoes are favorites, but hes not picky!).<br/><br/>Hes incredibly sweet and affectionate, always ready for kisses and snuggles. He eats his meals with enthusiasm (so much so that he now uses a slow feeder bowl!) and is making great progress with his routine. He currently sleeps on his bed like a perfect angel and is down to waking just once during the night.<br/><br/>Copper does have a slight bend in his back leg from birth, which means he may move a little slower at times or need a moment to loosen up if hes feeling stiff. But dont let that fool you, it never stops him from playing, exploring, or enjoying life to the fullest.<br/><br/>At the end of the day, Copper is happiest when hes digging in the yard, playing with his people (and dog friends), and then settling in for a long, well-earned nap.<br/><br/>He would thrive in a home with another playful dog, a yard to explore, and a family who has the time and love to give him the attention he happily demands.<br/><br/>Copper truly is the best boy and hes ready to bring a whole lot of love (and personality) into his forever home.<br/><br/>For more information, email adopt@mushrescue.com<br/><br/>Application: https://mushrescue.com/prospective-owner-application/
